About Instamaker
Who's behind this, why it exists, and how it actually works — no hype.
Who builds Instamaker
Instamaker is built by Nidan, a solo developer and long-time Instagram creator. It started as a personal frustration: keeping a niche account running means publishing new content every week, and every "AI content tool" either handed back generic ideas or repeated the same topics over and over.
Instamaker is operated by NOW_JSS4S PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore. The product itself is built by one developer who uses it, reads the feedback, and ships the fixes.
Why Instamaker exists
The core problem was repetition. Generic AI tools don't remember what you've already published, so you'd get the same topic ideas — the same seven fitness myths, the same ten travel tips — week after week. Posting that kills engagement, and rethinking topics from scratch every time kills your time.
Instamaker's answer is per-profile history: every generation registers its topic with your profile, and the next one is explicitly told what not to repeat. Each profile keeps its own no-repeat ledger, so a fitness account and a finance account never bleed into each other. It's a small idea, but it's the reason Instamaker exists.
How it works — honestly
You set up a profile for your niche — your topic area, handle, colors, and image themes — and Instamaker generates a full carousel: hook slide, content slides, a call-to-action slide, plus a caption and hashtags. Under the hood, an LLM writes the content and its output is validated against a strict schema, retried automatically up to three times when it doesn't fit — so you don't get half-formed slides. The profile's recent topics are included in the prompt so it doesn't repeat itself, and seven themes are picked deterministically from your theme pool, so the same topic always renders the same way. Each theme's image query pulls a photo from Unsplash (photographers are credited), and the slides are composed as HTML/CSS and rendered to PNG files by headless Chromium — crisp, real text, not AI-image text with typos baked in. Each requested language adds one more LLM pass to translate the content, sharing the images and counting as a single generation. The honest caveat: AI makes mistakes. Topics can miss your niche, facts can be wrong, translations can be imperfect. Always review a carousel before you post it — you're responsible for what you publish.
