Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Instamaker collects when you use the instamaker.ai website and services (the “Service”), why we collect it, and how it is handled. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Instamaker is operated by NOW_JSS4S PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202420668K). NOW_JSS4S PTE. LTD. is the controller of the personal data described in this policy; “we” and “us” mean NOW_JSS4S PTE. LTD..

1. What data we store

To run the Service we store the following data:

  • Accounts — your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password so you can sign in.
  • Profiles — the configuration of your content profiles, including your niche, languages, theme preferences, and handle.
  • Generations — the topics you request, the carousels we generate for you, their rendered images, and their translation history.
  • Feedback — anything you send us through feedback or support channels. Similar reports may be grouped by our LLM provider, which sees your original text for that purpose; if a group is filed to our public issue tracker, it carries only a summary and an internal id, never your original text.
  • API keys — keys you provide so we can call services on your behalf. They are used only for that purpose.

2. Your responsibility

We are not responsible for any personal or vulnerable/sensitive information users share on the website. Please do not include personal data, secrets, or sensitive information in your profile descriptions, prompts, uploaded designs, or feedback. What you share in the Service may be processed by third parties to generate content (see Section 6).

3. AI-generated content

AI can make mistakes — output is not guaranteed correct or safe. Generated content may contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing. The LLM provider is of our choice and we are not responsible for their actions.

4. Billing and payments

Payments for paid plans are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stripe collects the payment information needed to bill you (such as card details and billing address). We do not store your card numbers.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. You can clear or block them in your browser, but some parts of the Service may not work without them.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers: the LLM provider that generates your content (which processes the prompts you submit), and Unsplash, the image provider that supplies stock images (their terms and licenses apply to those images). These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. The LLM provider is of our choice and we are not responsible for their actions.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Account data — your email address, display name, password hash, profiles, saved templates and API keys are kept for as long as your account exists.
  • Account deletion — deleting your account deletes it and everything stored under it, including your generations, images, feedback and usage records, immediately and permanently, and cancels any subscription and deletes your customer record at Stripe.
  • Carousel images — rendered carousel images are deleted 30 days after they are generated, or, if a publication you scheduled for them is still pending, one day after it has run.
  • Carousel text — the topics, captions and hashtags of your carousels are kept for as long as your account exists, unless you delete the profile they were made for.
  • Uploaded design files — slide images you upload to build a template are deleted within about a day; the template built from them stays until you delete it.
  • Usage records — a record of each generation and AI call, with its token count and cost but not your prompt, is kept for as long as your account exists.
  • Feedback — what you send us is kept for as long as your account exists; a summary filed to our issue tracker never contains your original text and stays there.
  • Payment records — Stripe keeps these, under its own retention rules and legal record-keeping duties.
  • Server logs — these are kept in rotating files capped at 30 MB per service, and the oldest entries are deleted as new ones are written.

8. Transfers outside Singapore

We use service providers that process personal data for us: Stripe (payments), OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes requests to (content generation), our hosting provider (servers and storage), Resend (email), Cloudflare (network edge and security) and Unsplash (image search). Your data may therefore be processed outside Singapore, under contractual protections comparable to the PDPA.

9. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. See the Terms of Service for the full warranty disclaimer and for how accounts may be terminated.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

11. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us through the contact page.
